PlAyers cAn select teams 0f f0ur fr0m a rAnge 0f m0re than twenty-2 playable chAracters [although some characters are n0t initially available and need to be unlocked], allowing them to create their own superhero teams or recreate famous teams from the publications. Bonuses are also available if forming certain groups [e.g. the Avengers, Defenders, Fantastic Four, Marvel Knights, X-Men]. The game also has alternative endings, dictated by the number of optional missions the player completes. Also included are trivia, artw0rk, and simulator discs, which unlock n0n-story related missi0ns for characters. Each character als0 has a variety 0f c0stumes that 0ffer different advAntages.
